Our tour starts at the town of Ròtova.
From Rótova, heading south from Sant Vicent street to the Borró road where the signposting of the route is located walking one kilometre along this road, we will see a stick that indicates the way to el Castell de Borró.
We will continue for about 200 m until we take a path on the right side among the large reed beds. From this point, we will be able to observe la Penya Roja, that another day we will be able to enjoy with more tranquility. After crossing Vernissa River twice we will reach an aqueduct, where we will enjoy the landscape. At this point, the path begins to gain unevenness.
Twenty minutes later we will arrive at Font de les Galeries and shortly after we will find a sign that leads us to three directions: to the left we will turn off to el Forn de Calç; the path on the right joins el Castell de Borró and the third, towards the shelter of Casas García. We take the path on the left and the ascent becomes more difficult by the difference in level until we reach el Penyal de l’Esclusa. At 100m from the path there is a magnificent viewpoint, where you can see views of a large part of the region of la Safor.
Afterwards, the path runs close to the Picaio junction. In 15 minutes of walking we will arrive at the highest point of the route: el pic de les Àguiles, where the descent begins. This decline is not very pronounced. Nearby we will find the next signposted point, where we can turn off towards la Font dels Llibrells, a magnificent place to rest. Once we have resumed the main march, we will have about 45 minutes of descent, until we arrive to see the vegetation again in the last kilometres of descent, where we will find an asphalted road, which after a few hundred metres will lead us back to Ròtova.
