It starts in the town centre of Tavernes de la Valldigna.
We go through the streets of the old area, from the first roundabout of the CV-50 towards the institute, along Mestre Serrano Street until we reach Doctor Gómez Ferrer Street, where we turn left until we reach the crossroads with Castellets Street, where we turn right. After a few metres, you will find the defence wall on the right side, at the bottom of the mountain of les Creus.
Along the forest track we go parallel to the canal. After a few hundred metres we arrive at l’ermita del Calvari, from the 19th century; later on the path goes away from the town centre. Following the path we reach a point where there is a signpost to reach the PRV 38 or follow our route. We have to turn left taking a small uphill path. Almost immediately we pass by la Font de la Mina, where, depending on the time of the year, we can collect water.
A steep ascent begins on the southern face of the mountain of les Creus. In the last part of the ascent, in the place called Cingle de l’Aigua, is located l’Escola d’Escalada del Centre Excursionista de Tavernes de la Valldigna (hiking/climbing centre). At this point we find the PR-V 38, at the height of la Penya Roja.
As the route is linear, we will have to return along the same path until we reach the town centre of Tavernes.
