We start the tour from Simat.
We begin the route by taking the road from Simat to Barxeta, where we will travel 1.7 km to the beginning of the path. After walking these first few metres, a tree on the left side of the road indicates the beginning of the path, in white and yellow, which will lead us to Barx.
A demanding ascent of 3.5 km begins. Once we get to the top, we will arrive at a plateau that will allow us to contemplate a landscape of abysses. The most important abyss is the one called Avenc del Toro. We will continue following the path between the abysses until we start the descent towards Barx, we will enjoy views of the town from the mountain, as we approach.
When arriving at the last part of the route, we have to be careful not to go the wrong way, as the signposting is in bad condition. The path leads to an asphalted track, which we will take to the right and then, when we reach the next crossroads, we will turn to the left, on the way to la Font de la Puigmola fountain, located about 250 metres from the crossroads. In la Puigmola we can recover before crossing the last stretch of 1.5 km until we reach Barx. There is also a detour on the right that connects us to the PR-V 60.
