Cave of great importance to la Comunitat Valenciana because of the presence of bats.
In recent years the number of these had fallen, but it seems that the number has now increased slightly. Its environment is very nice, but it is recommended not to enter, because of the bats living in there and the high concentration of dust in suspension.
The most significant bats in la Xurra are Rhinolophus euryale and Myotis nattereri.
