Built in the mid-18th century to Store the snow collected in winter.
La Nevera belonged to the monks of Convent de Santa Maria de la Valldigna de Simat.
La Nevera has a circular plant, made of masonry and lime mortar, it has a large diameter (14,8m) with very narrow exterior walls (0,6m). It lost the original coverage, from which we can see some points of the birth of solid brick arches (realized in a contiguous kiln whose remains are still visible) and nowadays we can observe the ribs in metal. The interior well has two access doors to the east and west and has a depth of 8,70m.
At the moment, an archaeological investigation is being made and has led to the discovery of the original access to La Nevera (news in Levante newspaper). This construction is interrelated with other fridges between La Drova and Pinet, but this is the only one restored and therefore, it has a better state.
