Museo Vicente Parra

The Olímpia Theatre, located in the birth house of D. Gregorio Mayans y Siscar, it hosts, in the halls of the first floor, the monographic exhibition dedicated to the memory of the great actor Vicente Parra.

Through the posters of his films, an abundant graphic documentation on his artistic career, the awards received throughout it …, it offers a complete tour of the human and artistic career of the actor who symbolized a whole epoch in the history of spanish cinema and theatre.

The exhibition, recently enriched with its private artistic collection, consists of paintings acquired or given by artists such as Salvo, Asdrúbal, Coronado …, as well as those gifts from well-known public figures such as la Duquessa d’Alba and the actress Nati Mistral, It has been expanded with an extensive repertoire of images from the specialized press that reflect the beginning of his career, the diffusion of the actor in the media, his consecration and the stage of artistic maturity.
